CBIT to Host National-Level FDP on "The AI Beyond Frontier: Recent Breakthroughs and Next-Gen Prospects"

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Hyderabad, is organizing a One-Week National Level Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “The AI Beyond Frontier: Recent Breakthroughs and Next-Gen Prospects” from 21st to 25th April, 2025. The programme is being conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, with the aim of equipping faculty, research scholars, and industry professionals with emerging trends and hands-on skills in cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The FDP will feature expert sessions on key AI domains such as Generative AI, Explainable AI, Edge and On-device AI, Quantum AI, Swarm Intelligence, and Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems. Participants will gain practical experience with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, RAG, and Hugging Face, and learn about ethical considerations, security, and privacy in AI.

The event is spearheaded by Prof. China Ramu S, Head, Department of CSE, with Dr. Uma Maheswari V, Prof. China Ramu S and Dr. Padmavathi V coordinating the FDP. The program is supported by the leadership of Sri N. Subash, President, CBIT, and Prof. C. V. Narasimhulu, Principal, CBIT.

Participants will receive an FDP certificate upon achieving 80% attendance. The registration fee is Rs. 200 for faculty, Rs. 150 for research scholars and students, and Rs. 400 for others. Last date for registration is April 18, 2025.
