The Two-Week Online International Short-Term Training Program (ISTTP) on "AI-Driven Autonomous Systems: Applications and Innovations" is scheduled from January 27 to February 8, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Organized by the Department of IT, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (Autonomous), this program offers an immersive experience in AI-powered autonomous technologies, focusing on their applications in sectors like transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, and smart cities. It is designed for faculty, industry professionals, and researchers, providing hands-on experience in designing AI solutions for autonomous systems.
The inaugural event in online mode held on January 27, 2024, @7.00PM, featured Mr. Raghunandan Mathur, Senior Project Manager at NEC Corporation, USA, as the Chief Guest, alongside Principal Dr. C.V. Mr. Mathur also delivered the opening session on January 27, 2025, titled “AI-Driven Autonomous Systems: Shaping the Future of Innovation.”
On Day 2 of the ISTTP on "AI-Driven Autonomous Systems: Applications and Innovations," Session 2 focused on the topic "Intelligent Systems Research Overview," delivered by Dr. Prahlad Rao BB (Retd. Scientist, CDAC) and Dean of CSE at East Point College of Engineering.
In his talk, Dr. Prahlad Rao BB covered the usage of CSE algorithms across various fields, the origin of the term "AI," the Gartner Hype Cycle for emerging technologies, and the IMRAD story for research paper writing. He provided valuable insights into intelligent systems and their applications.
29-01-2025, on Day 3 of the ISTTP on "AI-Driven Autonomous Systems: Applications and Innovations," Session 3 focused on the topic "Depth Sensing Mechanism Using a Single RGB Camera with Optical Imaging, Incorporating Inherent ML and DL Techniques." The session was delivered by Dr. K.V. Sriharsha, Research Engineer at OLA Electric, Bangalore.
